About project
Currently we are looking for an experienced SAP MM Consultant to join a project from logistics industry. Your job will support IT systems for all procurement activities.
Possibility of 100% remote work.
Tasks
- Shaping the future of procurement and inventory management applications and processes within the ongoing S/4HANA project and beyond
- Analyzing procurement and purchasing workflows, gathering requirements, and proposing innovative implementation strategies
- Overseeing the implementation of requirements, working alongside the development team using ABAP and other relevant technologies
- Designing and integrating interfaces within system landscape, ensuring smooth implementation
- Taking ownership of solutions, ensuring their long-term effectiveness and sustainability
- Following Agile methodologies to drive efficient and adaptive development
- Collaboration with colleagues and development teams worldwide
Requirements
- Min. 5 years of experience on a similar position
- Extensive expertise in SAP MM, both from a business and customization perspective, along with in-depth knowledge of procurement, materials management, and inventory management
- A degree in an IT-related field or equivalent professional experience in an IT role
- Experience in logistics industry
- Experience working in an Agile environment with constantly evolving requirements
- Experience in communication within an international setting and strong written and spoken English skills (min. B2)
Nice to have:
- Hands-on experience with ABAP, FIORI, or Java development
- Background in transport logistics
- Familiarity with S/4HANA
- Understanding of Accounting and Controlling
